Please do not forget to post your PC Specs like I did above. If you encountered problems or you have other feedbacks, just reply on those threads or here in this Ubuntu Forum thread. As the heading probably implies, Curse Client (or just Curse) isn't too useful for anyone who doesn't play the hit MMORPG of ten years, World of Warcraft. I have not written a guide to installing Curse Client v4 yet. Curse Client is an additional piece of software for World of Warcraft that provides and manages add-ons.

To update to 3.3.5a you will need to start with this page that lists all the patches that were made during WotLK and provides mirrors for. Now that you have the game installed and the client setup properly you need to update the client to the version that almost all private servers use.

How-To Play World of Warcraft on Ubuntu Linux Smoothly () 4) Update the client to 3.3.5a Patch List & Downloads. How-To Install Runes of Magic on Ubuntu Linux () Okay, without further ado here are the How-To Guides + an extra - installing Curse Client directly to WINE (not via POL). World of Warcraft lies within Games, more precisely Roleplay. This free software is a product of Blizzard Entertainment. The World of Warcraft installer is commonly called Launcher.exe, Wow-64.exe, WoW.exe, Monster WoW.exe or Wow 4.0.6a.exe etc. It will work, you just have to skip the POL steps and do it directly with your WINE, and then do the other instructions as well. World of Warcraft is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 environment, 32 and 64-bit versions. * Note: Not because the guides were written for PlayOnLinux users does it mean it will not work for non-POL users. It includes instructions for multi-booters (in fact, it is geared towards multi-booters because I am a multi-booter myself). If you are a multi-booter and you also want to be able to play using via Ubuntu Linux, then give this a try. My How-To guides include the settings that works for me, give it a try as well. If this is your first time to try it or maybe you already did before but it failed, it is also possible that you forgot to set something. If you are having problems running your game and you previously ran other games before, the problem may be with the WINE configuration and registry edits you did before, so I want to ask you as well to give this a try. My instructions are for installing games via PlayOnLinux which minimizes the need to edit-this-and-edit-that when switching between games, and the target audience here is those who just want to make these games run (in other words, creating scripts to automate game-switching is not an option and besides, I don't want that either :p ). So it really is hard to say that it does work out in the wild. You know, it is one thing that it works on your own machine, but another on someone else's box. I am looking for brave testers to test the installation instructions I wrote for Runes of Magic and World of Warcraft. Good Morning! (It's morning of Oct.28 here in the Philippines :p )
